Why do resistance training?

"So why is resistance training so important as we age?

​

Resistance Training helps muscle and bone growth, preventing osteoporosis and helping us be more resilient for everyday life and in case of any accidents. 

 

Helps improve mobility and flexibility

 

Helps improve coordination and balance and therefore helps prevent falls

 

Helps maintain independence in performing daily life activities

​

Plus, training in a group is fun and you might make some new friends!
